Full Body Compression Therapy

Compression promotes promote better circulation, improved lymphatic function, and faster recovery. By applying controlled pressure to the limbs, this therapy enhances blood flow and helps to eliminate toxins, reducing muscle soreness, swelling and inflammation. Compression can help support athletic performance, prevent injury and accelerate healing.

Benefits of compression may include:

  • Improved lymphatic function and circulation

  • Reduced muscle aches and pain

  • Improved flexibility and mobility

  • Increased athletic performance

  • Reduced recovery time

Traditionally, compression therapy utilizes socks, stockings, or compression boots. At Badger CryoClinic, we offer full body compression utilizing Flowpresso® Sports Mode technology from New Zealand.

Flowpresso consists of individual “sleeves” that surround the arms, “booties” that surround the feet and legs, and a wrap for the abdomen, allowing for complete customization of your treatment. Each piece of the suit utilizes compressed air to gently pressurize and massage the limbs and hip area. Flowpresso technology further enhances healing and recovery with optional, built-in far infrared heat.

Your first session includes a consultation, customization of sleeves & settings, and 20 minutes of compression therapy. Your therapist will then book future sessions, increasing treatment time as needed according to your body’s response and individual needs.

Whole Body Vibration

Vibration plates use high-frequency vibrations to stimulate muscles, promoting rapid contraction and relaxation known as muscle reflex. This helps promote lymphatic drainage and increases circulation, flexibility, and muscle strength.

  • Benefits of using a vibration plate include:

  • Increased muscle strength & muscle recovery

  • Decreases muscle soreness

  • Increases flexibility and improves balance

  • Increases metabolism, supports weight loss and enhances body sculpting results

  • Boosts immunity and may lower blood pressure

  • Improves Bone Mineral Density

Who should not use whole body vibration?

  • Those with a history of blood clots: It's vital for people with a history of blood clots to avoid vibration plate training since the vibrations from the plates can enhance blood flow and possibly dislodge blood clots.

  • People with certain medical conditions, such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, or heart disease may not be good candidates for vibration plate training.

  • Women during pregnancy

  • People who have pacemakers or other medical devices.

Whole body vibration is available as a treatment on it's own, or great to pair with any other service for enhancement. Sessions begin with 10 minutes and then increased during following sessions.
